CONGRATULATIONS ! CLASS #3 for graduating on April 11, 2008 Police Officers from Cambria, Somerset Counties, Security from Torrance State Hospital, Conemaugh Hospital and Correction Officers from Cambria County Prison were in attendance.
This was the first class that we had Correction Officers, and Security from a State Hospital in attendance. CIT would like to thank Warden John Prebish, Cambria County Prison for sending Corrections Officers and and Edna McCutcheon, CEO of Torrance State Hospital for sending Security Officers to become the first officers in the area which the training program adheres to the Memphis CIT model.

"Congratulations" We would like to acknowledge one of the Laurel Highlands CIT Officers, Meline Kline for receiving the YWCA's Lady Liberty Award. Ms. Kline is a Iraq War Veteran and an Officer for Jackson Twp Police Dept. Ms. Kline said since taking the CIT training it has helped her with her job and the effects of the war..
