"How could a police department not want to have a CIT program? The benefits to the community and police are enormous.
The Laurel Highlands CIT is now on Facebook The Laurel Highlands Region CIT program was highlighted on the local television station WJAC TV on 5/19/08. We wish to thank news anchor, Jennifer Johnson for the outstanding coverage provide by her and all the folks at WJAC who helped.
The WJAC Video is being shown at various Veterans Administration facilities across the country as a means of promoting CIT with in the VA. We are proud that the WJAC News piece highlighting the Laurel Highlands Region Police CIT Program was chosen as tool by the VA to assist with implementing CIT.
